“Designs that are original, distinctive and timeless”
A little about me
I wanted to take the time to tell you about myself and my design process.
For me designing and making is everything. I spend my life thinking about designs, coming up with new concepts and then turning them into a reality.
I love the entire process of designing and making. I find nothing more satisfying than giving the final polish or hanging a piece of work up that was once a sketch on a piece of paper.
I love to create designs that are original and distinctive, yet elegant and timeless. I’m not interested in following trends and fashions and I don’t think function should take a back seat to aesthetics. I think design should be equally beautiful and functional.
Below is a video and some photographs of my making process, where you can view some of my designs as they come to life.
The Casting Process.
Each cast piece is expertly handcrafted from start to finish. The life of a piece starts as ingots of bronze and foam forms.
It takes 1300˚C to get the bronze hot enough to pour and then tens of hours of hand finishing to finish a piece.
Here is a small sequence of the process that goes in to making each piece.
Please enjoy!
